Thank you for visiting the website of The Episcopal Church of Jackson Hole. I do hope this virtual visit will be followed before too long with a physical one. Many people from around the world, upon coming to this breathtaking valley, find their way to this parish, and, when they leave, leave a bit of their hearts behind.
Since 1908, before there was a Town of Jackson, we have been privileged to serve the people of this community. Our first building was a hostel for cowboys who couldn't afford a hotel, a gym, the public library, and the town hall. Then we built a church and right after that the hospital, which still carries our name.
Today that heritage continues as we host and fund significantly the major human service agencies of the community. Yet before we nourish one's body, we strive to enrich the spirit. Christian worship and pastoral care are at the core of what we do. Our Sacred Conversations series brings notables from throughout the world to engage and challenge not only the parish, but the larger community. Among ourselves we strive to be the soul of Jackson Hole. We take that task very seriously.
You can click below to connect with my blog, listen to services and sermons and sign up for our weekly email newsletter, Revelations. In the pages that follow you can schedule a wedding or other sacraments in this spectacular setting of the Tetons at St. John's, the Chapel of the Transfiguration in Grand Teton National Park, or St. Hubert's Chapel in Bondurant. You can also learn about various programs and engage any of the remarkable colleagues I have as partners in ministry.
Again, welcome!
