As we approach our 2010 Annual Fund Drive, I want to share with you what the leadership and staff of this parish do every day to keep the congregation vital, Spirit-led and Spirit-filled. 

At St. John's, it would be easy to rest on our beautiful facilities and our heritage, but you don't see that when you come on our campus any day of the week. 

The work of serving the poor and forgotten goes on through our ministries and those of our on-campus affiliates.  Hands are held; stories are shared; hearts quickened and possibilities are explored . . . every day. 

Every dollar entrusted to this parish is used to glorify God by serving creation and serving God's creatures.

This year our stewardship theme is: Nourishing the body, mind and spirit.  In the Stewardship Notes below I, and the people I am privileged to work with, want to let you know just what the people of this parish accomplish together to do God's ministry in this glorious place. 

We need your help now and in the future, that's for sure, but first we just want you to know how this old frontier church remains an elegant witness to the freshness of God's Spirit.
